Bramble Cottage is more than a home. It’s a way of living.
Tucked in the west of Ireland and powered by solar, seasons, and stubbornness, this is where slow living meets quiet rebellion. Off-grid but deeply rooted, it’s a place where socks are hand-knitted, herbs are gathered by the moon, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is done just for the algorithm.
By Bramble Cottage began as a gentle creative return: designing seasonal sock patterns, bottling old knowledge, and reclaiming the joy of making useful things with care. What started with wool and wildflowers has grown into a living record of herbal crafts, cottage garden experiments, and Bramblecore inspiration.
This space honours a handmade life, not perfect, not polished, but intentional. Patterns are released slowly. Newsletters are written when there’s something worth saying. Some weeks are for preserving elderberries, others are for turning heel.
If you’ve ever longed for a quieter rhythm, or felt at home among yarn, drying herbs, and slightly feral roses, you’re in good company here.
Welcome to the thicket.
